How to close your account

If you wish to close your Hercle account, please contact our support team at support@hercle.com with the subject line "Account closure request".

Before submitting your request, please ensure:

  • All open positions and pending trades have been settled.

  • All fiat and crypto balances have been withdrawn to your designated external accounts.

  • There are no outstanding transfers or compliance review holds on your account.

Our team will confirm receipt of your request and guide you through the offboarding process. Please allow up to 5 business days for the closure to be processed.

Note: Account closure is subject to applicable regulatory and contractual obligations. Hercle is required to retain certain records in accordance with its AML/CTF programme even after an account is closed.


Can I reactivate a closed account?

Yes, in most cases a previously closed account can be reactivated. Please contact us at support@hercle.com with the subject line "Account reactivation request". Reactivation is subject to a compliance review, and you may be asked to provide updated KYB documentation if your original onboarding was completed more than 12 months prior or if any entity details have changed. Our team will confirm whether reactivation is possible and the expected timeline.
